Registration

  1. The registration form is mandatory for all institutions/enterprises that wish to participate in the Srijan 2009 Awards.
  2. The registration form is common for all the four Srijan award categories i.e.
    1. Srijan 2009 Emerging MFI Award
    2. Srijan 2009 Technology Innovation Award
    3. Srijan 2009 Client Centric Product/Service by an MFI
    4. Srijan 2009 MFI Transparency Award
  3. The registration form has to be submitted to the Srijan secretariat at srijan2009@intellecap.com prior to or along with the submission of the completed nomination form.
  4. Both the completed registration form and the nomination form need to be emailed to the Srijan secretariat by Oct 30, 2009 at srijan2009@intellecap.com
  5. Srijan 2009 is valid only for enterprises/institutions incorporated in India, with operations within the country.
  6. The decision by the Srijan Jury regarding the award winners will be final and binding and no disputes regarding the same shall be entertained.

Note: Participants can submit their registration forms first. Nomination forms can be submitted at a later date but not after November 6, 2009

Srijan 2009 MFI Transparency Award: The Srijan 2009 MFI Transparency Award will recognize initiatives and practices within an MFI that allows it to be more transparent and eventually fairer to its clients.
The Technology Innovation Award: The award will recognize technology innovations that have the capability to change the scope of financial inclusion.
Srijan 2009 Client Centric Product/Service MFI Award: This category invites participation from all microfinance institutions (both established & emerging). The award will focus on client centricity through parameters such as customer focused products, loan sizes, repayment cycles and other client led practices.
The Srijan 2009 Emerging MFI Award: Applicable to Indian microfinance/financial institutions involved (on ground operations) in the microfinance space for at least six mont but not more than 3 years with a portfolio size of less than 50 crores (approx. $10 Million).
